The Description of silicon carbide ceramic wafer
Nitride bonded silicon carbide is widely used as a thermocouple thermowell in the thermometric system of nonferrous metal melting furnace. It has the following characteristics:
1. Excellent thermal conductivity, thin tube wall (only a few millimeters), very fast response to temperature, can measure the temperature of liquid metal in one minute;
2. It will not melt at high temperature and will not pollute the liquid metal;
3. Excellent thermal shock resistance, oxidation resistance, and thermal shock resistance;
4. Very strong corrosion resistance, and erosion resistance;
5. It is an electrical insulator;
6. High-temperature resistance and good thermal expansion.
