The description

We specialize in molybdenum (Mo/Mn) thick film metallization on ceramic insulators, ceramic substrates. These ceramic parts are mainly made out of 95%, 97%, 99% alumina, or yttria partially stabilized zirconia. The regular thickness of metallization is from 15um to 40um. After metallizing process, a further low-stress nickel (Ni) sulfamate or electroless nickel will be plated on molybdenum layer, the norm. thickness is 2~6um. The following Ni plating would enhance the wettability at brazing process between ceramic to metal, also it could protect against oxidization of Mo/Mn metallization layer. With reference to metallized ceramics with Ni plating we supplied, we ensure the ceramic parts would be maintained for 3 years without oxidizing in the air.

 

The metallized ceramics we supply could be brazed with stainless steel, pure cooper, cooper-silver, Kovar and other braze alloys. All the brazed subassembly are featured by their great brazed strength and air tightness.
