General introduction of ceramic grinding burrs
We manufacture ceramic grinding burrs in 95% alumina and steatite. The product you are browsing is made of steatite.
Alumina represents the most commonly utilized ceramic material in industry. Due to its extremely superior abrasion and chemical resistance, alumina has been widely used in makeing reusable grinding burrs.
Reusable grinders are gaining more and more popularity, while for some consumers, refilling the grinders may be troublesome. Thus there are many people willing to use disposable grinders – the grinder can be thrown away when expended. We often choose steatite in making those disposable grinding burrs since the material is cost effective.
About the Raw Material
Steatite has superb performances in wear resistance, corrosion resistance and environmental protection. It is a lower-cost material than alumina.
