The description of the metalized ceramics
Metallization of ceramics refers to the creation of thin metal layers (films) on the surface of ceramics. The function of the metallization layer: beautify the product, protect the ceramic, form a functional device (such as a heating film, an electrode), facilitate the connection of the ceramic to other materials, etc.

Conventional surface metallization methods include the noble metal method and the Mo-Mn method. Among them, the noble metal method is to mix a precious metal powder (such as silver powder, palladium powder) with glass powder, a binder, a solvent, etc. to form a slurry and apply it on the surface of the ceramic, and then the glass is melted and sintered to form a precious metal layer on the surface of the ceramic; the Mo-Mn method is to coat metal powders such as molybdenum powder and manganese powder on the surface of the ceramic, and then sinter at a high temperature in a reducing atmosphere (hydrogen), thereby forming a metal layer on the ceramic surface.
